As a Customer Service Advocate, you will play a vital role in building trust with our members and providing them with exceptional support throughout their healthcare journey. Job Overview In this national remote position, you will enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere within the U.S., taking on challenging and rewarding responsibilities. As a Customer Service Advocate, you will be the single point of contact for our members, addressing their questions and concerns related to their healthcare plans. Your primary focus will be on providing inbound call support, assisting members with medical and pharmacy benefits, eligibility, claim resolution, dental and vision issues, and promoting healthcare literacy. Key Responsibilities: Listen actively and ask appropriate questions to identify specific questions or issues, documenting inquiries from members regarding medical, vision, dental, pharmacy plan details, plan/program eligibility, and medical claims. Use multiple databases, tools, and partnerships to refer and enroll members in appropriate internal specialists and programs based on their needs. Interpret and translate clinical/medical terminology and coding to assist members in managing costs using simple language. Adapt to communicated changes in process, policy, and guidelines quickly at the site and enterprise level. Educate members about the fundamentals of healthcare benefits and plans, assisting them in maximizing the use of community services, support programs, and resources available. Meet performance goals established for the position in efficiency, call quality, customer satisfaction, first call resolution, schedule adherence, and attendance. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: Essential Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment. Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work Monday - Friday during our normal business hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm and 12:30pm - 9:00pm CST, with occasional overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a customer service environment. Experience in a healthcare insurance environment. Familiarity with arenaflex benefit operations and experience. Telecommuting Requirements To work remotely, you must: Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Live in a location that can receive an arenaflex-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
