Key Responsibilities and Overview As a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers' travel experiences are smooth, pleasant, and memorable. Your mission will be to make every customer feel valued and supported throughout their journey. This role is critical in maintaining our brand's strength and reputation by adhering to uniform compliance, professionalism, and a positive attitude, both inside and outside of work. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Greeting customers and assisting them with the ticketing and baggage check-in process as a Ticket Agent. Using computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as managing the check-in process to ensure customers have the proper travel documentation. Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts, which may include handling items at various levels. Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding as a Gate Agent, including using computers for seat availability, making gate announcements, and managing the boarding process. Operating jet ways and handling aircraft doors, ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations. Work Schedule and Environment Customer Service Agents are scheduled to work a shift between 20 to 40 hours per week, which may include afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role requires standing for long periods and working consistently in public areas, where you will be expected to understand and respond to a variety of questions about travel information. Additionally, you may be responsible for escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional customer service in diverse situations. Essential Qualifications for Success To succeed as a Customer Service Agent at arenaflex, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles, promoting an inclusive and respectful environment. Prioritize safety and security for yourself and others, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures. Hold a High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency, demonstrating a foundational level of education. Be at least 18 years of age, meeting the legal requirement for employment in this role. Be proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills, using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation. Possess basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment, demonstrating your ability to provide exceptional customer service. Be physically capable of frequently lifting bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting items between 50 and 70 pounds. Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Be authorized to live and work in the location at the time of your application, meeting all legal and regulatory requirements.
