At blithequark, we believe that our people are our greatest asset, and we strive to create a work environment that is inclusive, supportive, and empowering. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Agent – Ticket/Gate Agent LOD Spanish (Customer Service Agent), you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences at LAX. Your responsibilities will include: * Greeting customers, guiding them through the ticketing and baggage check-in process, and assisting with seat availability and gate boarding * Using computers to sell, print, and reissue tickets, manage the check-in process, and handle baggage * Tagging baggage and performing lifting tasks that involve transferring baggage from scales to conveyor belts * Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures * Operating jet ways to place them in position prior to aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors * Assisting customers with routing, trip planning, and gate boarding * Making gate announcements regarding the boarding process, flight status, checking and handling baggage, managing, and initiating the boarding process **Requirements** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * Fluency in both English and Spanish to better serve customers * A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency * Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States * Must be proficient in English * Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation * Possess basic computer skills * Must successfully pass a Customer Service Assessment * Frequently lift bags or items weighing up to and including 50 pounds * Occasionally lift bags or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds * Be willing to work a fixed and/or rotating schedule including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Pass a physical ability test (PAT) * Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal **Preferred Qualifications** Previous ticketing experience is preferred, but not required.
