With a diverse range of products and services, we offer our customers a one-stop-shop for all their needs, from building materials and décor to electrical, flooring, garden, hardware, kitchen & bath, lumber, millwork, paint, plumbing, and tool rental. **Job Summary** As a Customer Service and Sales Professional at blithequark, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs, and providing assistance to sell an entire project. You'll learn about our products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. You'll work closely with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments, to ensure a seamless customer experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide fast, friendly service to customers, assessing their needs and providing assistance to sell an entire project * Learn about products and services using our tools and provide information to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions * Greet, qualify, recommend, and close every customer in your department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments * Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe * Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely as not to endanger yourself, co-workers, vendors, or customers * Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department, as well as other departments * Participate in sales promotions, events, and initiatives to drive sales growth and customer engagement * Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and colleagues to drive business growth and customer satisfaction **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required;
