Here are just a few examples of what you might be doing: * **Serve as a Resource or Subject Matter Expert (SME)**: Share your knowledge and expertise with your colleagues, providing guidance and support to help them resolve complex customer issues. * **Handle Escalated Calls**: Take on the most challenging customer issues and resolve them in a single call, demonstrating your problem-solving skills and commitment to customer satisfaction. * **Answer Incoming Calls**: Respond to phone calls from Policyholders, Agents, and Third-parties, identifying their needs and providing timely assistance. * **Active Listening and Documentation**: Ask the right questions, listen attentively to customers' concerns, and document all relevant information in our computer systems. * **Own Problems through to Resolution**: Take ownership of customer issues, working to resolve them in real-time or through comprehensive follow-up, ensuring that customers receive the support they need. * **Research Complex Issues**: Use multiple databases and collaborate with support resources to resolve complex customer issues, demonstrating your analytical skills and ability to think critically. * **Meet Performance Goals**: Achieve high standards in areas such as first call resolution, call quality, efficiency, provider satisfaction, and attendance, demonstrating your commitment to excellence. **What You'll Need to Succeed** To excel as an Experienced Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and qualities. Here are some of the key requirements: * **Familiarity with Computer and Windows PC Applications**: Learn new and complex computer system applications, using your technical skills to navigate and resolve customer issues. * **At Least One Year of Contact Center Customer Service Experience**: Bring your experience and expertise in customer service, using your knowledge of multiple channels (phone, email, etc.) to provide exceptional support. * **Ability to Work Any 8-Hour Shift**: Be flexible and adaptable, working any 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime as needed. * **Successful Completion of Customer Service Training**: Complete our comprehensive customer service training program, demonstrating your proficiency in our systems and processes. **Education & Certifications** To excel in this role, you'll need to possess a combination of education and certifications. Here are some of the key requirements: * **Contact Center Operations: 1 Year (Required)**: Bring your experience and expertise in contact center operations, using your knowledge to provide exceptional support. * **High School Diploma / GED (Required)**: Demonstrate your basic education and literacy skills, using your knowledge to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. * **440 or 220 License Preferred (if do not have license need to be able to get it after starting)**: While not required, a 440 or 220 license is highly valued, demonstrating your knowledge and expertise in this area. * **Bi-Lingual is also a plus**: While not required, bi-lingual skills are highly valued, demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in multiple languages. **Remote Work Requirements** As a remote worker at blithequark, you'll need to meet certain requirements to ensure the security and confidentiality of our systems and data.
