About the Role arenaflex is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team based out of our Dallas, Texas facility. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this critical role will be responsible for handling all customer product inquiries and orders, as well as following up with customers in a prompt and professional manner. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical customer service environment. Key Responsibilities Processing orders, quotes, credits, returns applications, and other requests in an efficient and accurate manner. Communicating directly with customers or sales representatives either by telephone, electronically, or face to face to ensure exceptional customer service. Obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. Answering basic technical inquiries and directing advanced technical requests and other unresolved issues to the appropriate resource. Managing customer accounts, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries. Promptly responding and assisting customers with damaged shipments and/or mis-shipments, resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Keeping detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, utilizing this information to improve customer service and identify areas for improvement. Communicating and coordinating with internal departments and outside vendors to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise. Monitoring product stocking levels and inventory turns, making recommendations to optimize inventory management and customer service. Reviewing all product requirements and compiling them into efficient manufacturing schedules that optimize cost, customer service, and machine utilization. Performing other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to teamwork. Essential Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of business-to-business experience in a manufacturing or electrical customer service environment preferred. Computer literacy and experience with Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to manage a variety of concurrent tasks in a fast-paced work environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. Time management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong initiative and adaptability to change, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. Must be able to thrive in a team environment, contributing to a positive and collaborative culture. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a similar role within the electrical or manufacturing industry. Advanced computer skills, including experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software. Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices. Certification in customer service or a related field. You will audit shipments for on-time delivery and reconcile inventory and pricing discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Long-Term Goals Within 12 months, you will develop and/or audit necessary standard work for new and existing tasks, evaluating and proposing necessary changes to reporting metrics and methods. You will participate in in-person customer plant visits, building strong relationships with our customers and gaining a deeper understanding of their needs and expectations.
