Job Overview We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team at blithequark. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our customers receive timely, accurate, and personalized support, aligning with our commitment to exceptional customer service and maximizing productivity. The successful candidate will not only provide outstanding service to our clients but also collaborate closely with our sales representatives to ensure seamless customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding order status and product knowledge, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally. Manage all client interactions, including inbound and outbound calls, electronic requests, and face-to-face meetings with walk-in clients, maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism at all times. Process customer orders and changes in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Act as a point of contact for sales representatives regarding open orders, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise. Maintain and review various customer accounts and open orders, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and readily available. Pull and copy Material Safety Data Sheets as required by customers, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Research and resolve customer complaints and issues, following through to ensure satisfactory outcomes and enhanced customer satisfaction. Offer administrative support to management, including report generation, data processing, and filing, contributing to the smooth operation of the team. Undertake other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities. The Ideal Candidate To excel in this role, you should possess a combination of excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong ability to solve problems. The ideal candidate will have: A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college education preferred. 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within a warehouse or distribution environment, where you have developed a deep understanding of customer needs and the importance of timely resolutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. A keen attention to detail and accuracy in handling data, ensuring that all customer interactions and transactions are processed correctly. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement them effectively. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment. A customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Physical Requirements The role involves regularly sitting at a desk for extended periods, operating a computer, and engaging in clear and effective communication over the phone and in person.
