Job Overview The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in delivering personalized and caring client experiences, efficiently handling sales and service transactions, identifying financial needs, recommending products and services, and engaging business partners to improve the financial well-being of our clients. As a key member of our Retail Banking team, you will have a thorough understanding of our bank products and services, as well as our policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Build and expand banking relationships through proactive customer outreach and exceptional customer service Service, acquire, and deepen customer relationships to achieve individual and team sales and servicing goals Develop business and support servicing needs of customers, providing advice-led consultations and introducing alternative banking solutions Process transactions, maintain a cash drawer, and follow proper balancing procedures Support daily operations of the office, including processing night deposit bags, ATM deposits, and balancing the vault Refer complex customer needs to the appropriate team member or business partner Identify and resolve client issues in a timely and professional manner Ensure compliance with security and audit procedures, as well as regulatory compliance requirements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent business experience At least 1 year of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute an advice-led approach with customers Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to personalize features and benefits of products and services to customers with varying needs Demonstrated knowledge of bank products and services, as well as a familiar advice-led consultative approach to engaging customers and offering solutions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years of financial services experience in retail banking, with a demonstrated ability to process transactions and execute a consultative advice-led approach with customers, successfully opening new accounts Competencies and Skills To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to make personal connections and engage clients A strong desire to improve the financial well-being of customers by providing education and advice Ability to thrive in a team environment, with a self-starter mentality and strong organizational skills Ability to learn and utilize new technology effectively and efficiently Experience with banking systems and platforms, as well as a familiar advice-led consultative approach to engaging customers and offering solutions Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
