Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support and service. Your primary responsibilities will include handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and effective solutions. You will work closely with our sales team to provide support and assistance as needed, and you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and adhering to our company's policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Keys in sales orders daily with a high degree of accuracy, aiming for no more than 2 errors per month Sets up new clients as needed, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience Handles exception calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions Provides support for sales representatives as needed, helping to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction Sets up and maintains standing orders, including holds, releases, and additions, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail Processes exceptions into the Case module as needed, creating credit memos, filing freight claims, issuing call tags, and following defective product procedures Processes freight claims in a timely and efficient manner, pursuing payment from carriers and filing claim paperwork as required Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually, and participates in team discussions and activities Clocks in and out for work and lunch with accuracy, ensuring no more than 1 error per month Provides excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines, adhering to company safety standards and maintaining a safe working environment Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration at all times, working effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals Manages stress and pressure in a healthy and constructive manner, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote or call center environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide timely and effective solutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting performance metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, with the ability to self-motivate and work independently Knowledge of customer service software and technologies, such as CRM systems and helpdesk platforms Certifications or training in customer service, such as Customer Service Certification or Six Sigma Experience working in a similar industry or sector, with knowledge of relevant products, services, and regulations Second language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues who speak languages other than English Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues Problem-solving skills : strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and provide timely and effective solutions Time management skills : ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities with ease, meeting deadlines and delivering results in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail : strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting performance metrics Teamwork and collaboration : ability to work effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration at all times Adaptability and flexibility : ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting customer needs Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
