Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. This exciting opportunity is available for candidates residing in Florida, within 75 miles of our Orlando location (9310 Southpark Center Loop, Orlando, FL 32819). As a Pharmacy Service Representative, you will provide critical telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need in a timely and compassionate manner. Work Schedule and Responsibilities Available work schedules include 11:30am - 8pm EST and 12:30pm - 9pm EST. As a Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: Coordinating and processing new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revitalizing benefits. Assisting patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into our pharmacy information system. Communicating and collecting copay amounts, obtaining authorizations, and working with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Providing superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations. Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you will need: Required Qualifications At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with demonstrated skills and aptitude. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology are highly preferred. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The typical pay range for this role is $17.00 - $25.65 per hour, depending on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
