About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. This role is based on a work-from-home model in Nevada, requiring you to reside within 75 miles of our Specialty location at 7251 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Key Responsibilities Provide overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revitalizing benefits. Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system. Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and/or internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring the timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations prior to fulfillment. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience, with the necessary skills and aptitude. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
