Position Overview The Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in our organization, answering inbound calls from members and providers, inputting data, and providing a high level of customer service while extending courtesy and professionalism. As a CSR, you will handle inbound customer service inquiries and problems via telephone and email, effectively recording communications accurately and consistently. Your primary goal will be to identify, evaluate, and prioritize caller needs, questions, and concerns, and formulate plans of resolution to respond appropriately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and prioritize caller needs, questions, and concerns to provide personalized support and resolution. Formulate plans of resolution and respond appropriately and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain and restore customer satisfaction by partnering with other teams as needed and providing proactive solutions. Perform problem analysis, problem determination, and recommended resolutions to callers in accordance with standard protocol. Proactively educate callers on program benefits and services to enhance their experience and promote our offerings. Meet or exceed established call center metrics, attendance standards, and quality levels to contribute to the team's success. Use computer tools to accurately process and document information, ensuring data integrity and compliance with our standards. Develop rapport with callers and adjust communication style to ensure effective interaction and resolution. Provide accurate information about blithequark programs and services, and escalate issues internally as needed, following up on escalated issues to ensure timely resolution. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a customer service-related field, preferably in a remote or call center environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner. Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple calls, emails, and tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. General working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook, with proficiency in computer keyboard skills and internet navigation. The ability to work effectively with others in a team environment, building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, always-changing environment, adapting to new processes, technologies, and priorities as needed. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment, with a proven track record of self-motivation and discipline. Knowledge of customer service software and technology, including CRM systems and call center platforms. Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and resolution. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
