As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating and processing new and existing medication orders, verifying benefits, and communicating with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve any issues that may arise. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional phone support to patients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and understanding Coordinate and process new and existing medication orders, including verifying benefits and obtaining authorizations Communicate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely processing of orders Enter new or existing medication orders into the pharmacy information system, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with internal teams to monitor, identify, and resolve any issues that may arise Required Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Dynamic IL Pharmacy Technician License or willingness to apply for an IL Pharmacy Technician License One year of experience in a customer-facing role, handling and resolving complex customer needs via phone One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency Bachelor's degree in a related field Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the healthcare industry, with knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and medical terminology Previous experience working in a high-volume customer service environment, with a proven track record of providing exceptional support Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Windows-based applications and pharmacy information systems Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth and development.
