**Experienced Customer Service Representative – Healthcare Claims and Benefits Support**

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for answering incoming correspondence from healthcare providers, veterans, or veteran representatives to gather required information from the caller and client systems to make determinations. **Key Responsibilities** * Conduct every transaction with a customer-focused, courteous approach that ensures first call resolution and achieves quality scores while maintaining production standards. * Research and evaluate medical claims and benefits for proper adjudication. * Utilize client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software to manage multiple projects and provide exceptional service. * Document call activity and make requests for corrective action into VA systems. * Maintain a working knowledge of applicable VA regulations as they relate to 72-hour notification requirements. * Act as an effective team member, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives. * Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining access to all client systems and staying up-to-date on industry developments. **Essential Qualifications** * High School Diploma or GED required. * 1-2 years' experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or claims-related environment. * General office skills and knowledge of standard office equipment. * Working knowledge of software such as Excel and Word. * Data entry and 10-key experience necessary. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Personal traits of high-level commitment, motivation, energy, team orientation, professionalism, trust, personal honesty, and integrity. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with client systems, soft phone systems, and customer relationship management software. * Knowledge of VA regulations and procedures. * Certification in customer service or a related field. * Bilingual or multilingual skills. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we believe in fully developing each of our associates.
