From our headquarters to our stores and distribution facilities, we directly impact blithequark's bottom line by building customer loyalty as the store of choice and taking care of our employees so they can get back to the work they do best. **Job Responsibilities** As a Home-Based Sr. Specialist in Collections, you'll: * Interact with customers and negotiate bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections. * Provide a blithequark-branded interaction with credit account holders by treating them with respect and appreciation, showing courtesy and friendliness, identifying various account holder segments, and offering suitable possible solutions. * Be responsible for genuine expertise and adherence to all credit regulations and procedures, account fee terms, billing/collections structures, and various state and federal laws, guidelines, and policies governing credit and collections. * Demonstrate problem-solving skills by probing or making recommendations for handling exceptional account situations (e.g., bankruptcy, CCC, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.). * Work in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and requires prioritization of work accordingly. * The core responsibilities of this role are defined within this job description. Job responsibilities may change at any time due to business needs. **About You** * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays * 1-2 years of previous customer experience or customer service experience * Ability to interact with customers, employees, and internal business partners with a professional, friendly, empathetic style, and de-escalate as needed * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
