About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Medicare As a Customer Service Representative in our Medicare department, you will be the frontline representative for our customers, handling a wide range of inquiries and issues related to claims, benefits, enrollment, member portal, ID cards, and more. This role requires a unique blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and exceptional customer service abilities. Our ideal candidate is someone who can empathize with customers, resolve their issues efficiently, and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound customer calls with a focus on resolving issues related to Medicare services, including claims, benefits, and enrollment. Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to customers, ensuring that complex information is conveyed effectively. Utilize multiple systems simultaneously to access customer information, process requests, and resolve issues. Demonstrate empathy and understanding in interactions with customers, maintaining a customer-centric approach. Work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends, as part of a 37.5 hour workweek, with potential for overtime. Maintain a high level of productivity and adhere to quality standards, ensuring a 5-star service experience for customers. Essential Qualifications Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment, handling inbound calls. Strong customer-focused competencies, with a proven track record of delivering excellent service. Empathy and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages clearly over the phone. Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Scoring 80% or above on the eSkills test is mandatory. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, coupled with at least 2 years of customer service or call center experience. Experience within the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicare services. Previous experience handling inbound calls in a call center environment. A medical background is considered advantageous.
