Job Overview The Customer Service Representative serves as the front line to our customers, providing exceptional support and ensuring seamless communication. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound customer service calls, addressing questions, and efficiently submitting orders. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound customer service calls with clients placing meal orders, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of queries and concerns Address questions and provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs Input order information into the appropriate client order screen, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Document all conversations with clients into the client information database, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records Ensure all assigned clients are contacted and have an order on file, proactively managing client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth Contact case managers via telephone, email, and/or fax when a special situation arises regarding one of their clients, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills Work quickly and efficiently without making clients feel rushed, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet performance goals Essential Qualifications High school degree or GED, demonstrating a foundation in basic skills and knowledge 1 year of previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar environment, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer support Previous knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite (Word/Excel/Outlook), with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems Clear oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner Ability to deescalate situations and quickly resolve customer complaints, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills Prior experience adhering to company policies and showing core values, with a strong understanding of the importance of compliance and ethics in a business setting Preferred Qualifications 1 year of previous call center experience, with a strong understanding of call center operations and performance metrics Previous experience with auto dialer, multi-line phone system, and/or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies Previous experience working with HIPAA policies and procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of confidentiality and data protection Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse client populations Physical Requirements Repetitive motions that include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, with the ability to work in a sedentary environment for prolonged periods Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting, remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, with the ability to take regular breaks and maintain a healthy work-life balance Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple distractions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits The starting wage for this position is $17.00/hour, with weekly pay and benefits available after 30 days of employment. You will also be eligible for overtime pay, starting at 7:00 am.
