Job Overview This is a limited-service (temporary) full-time position, with an anticipated duration of approximately 4 months. As a customer service representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, utilizing your excellent communication skills to respond to incoming calls, emails, and other forms of contact. You will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate designated staff. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming calls from consumers, including the general public, prospective enrollees, and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf, in accordance with all performance standards, policy, and procedures. Respond effectively to all forms of inbound and outbound contacts, providing accurate and timely information, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems, ensuring that all interactions are recorded and up-to-date. Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to established guidelines, ensuring that customers receive the support they need. Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers are satisfied with the outcome. Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers, according to procedures, ensuring that all customers have access to the support they need. Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution, as needed, ensuring that complex problems are addressed in a timely and effective manner. Attend meetings and trainings as requested, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems, and continuously improving your skills and knowledge. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or GED required, with 6+ months of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong data entry and telephone skills, with excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced work environment, with the ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently, with previous experience with computers, phone systems, and headsets preferred. Previous experience in customer service and call center environments is highly desirable, with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service and support. Technical Requirements To perform this role, you will need to have the following technical requirements: A personal PC with an operating system of Windows 10 or higher.
