As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team that values diversity, inclusion, and continuous learning. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for: * Responding to inbound calls from clients, providing timely and accurate information to resolve their queries and concerns * Documenting details of conversations, using scripts and other resources to guide conversations and ensure consistency * Utilizing online reference materials to provide confident, accurate, and efficient information to clients * Effectively utilizing technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet * Meeting department quality assurance standards and metrics, ensuring exceptional service delivery * Educating and answering questions from clients, providing the most up-to-date information about our programs and services * Following protocol and applying sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential information **Essential Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * A minimum High School Diploma or GED * Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications * Ability to pass a language knowledge assessment * A strong internet connection, with the ability to hardwire via ethernet cable (not supplied by cellular data) * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and customer satisfaction **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be advantageous: * Bilingual or multilingual skills * Previous experience as a Customer Service Representative, preferably in a call center environment * Previously cleared for a Public Trust Entry of Duty Clearance Level (government clients only) * Licenses in Insurance, Healthcare, and/or Finance sectors * Previous experience with FEMA Call Center **Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on empathy and customer satisfaction * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively * Proficiency in technical systems, including desktop, call center-specific phone systems, and the internet **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to supporting your career growth and development.
