Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in a remote capacity, working from the comfort of your own home in either the Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST) zone. As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our members receive exceptional support and care, addressing their inquiries, and scheduling appointments with our healthcare professionals. This is a full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed. Primary Responsibilities In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for: Calling members to schedule in-home visits with our Physicians or Nurse Practitioners Answering inbound calls from members and assisting them with their inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner Ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolving any scheduling issues or concerns that may arise You will be working in a high-volume, customer-facing environment, where efficiency, productivity, and attention to detail are essential. Your ability to work flexibly, including evening hours, and navigate multiple screens while typing and talking will be critical to your success in this role. Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements: Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent work experience Must be at least 18 years old 1 year of work experience in a customer-facing role Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, including creating, editing, saving, and sending documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements Ability to work an 8-hour shift between our normal business hours of 9:00 am to 5:30 pm local time, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly with Medicaid or Medicare Experience working in a customer retention-focused role Telecommuting Requirements To work remotely with blithequark, you will need to: Reside within the EST or CST time zone Have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy Have a reliable, high-speed internet connection that meets our technical requirements Be able to connect directly to the internet via a hardwired connection (either directly to a modem or router) Soft Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following soft skills and competencies: Ability to type and talk simultaneously while navigating multiple screens Experience working in a metric-driven work environment Experience using an auto-dialer system Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with our members and provide exceptional customer service Career Growth and Development Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees.
