Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers to address a variety of topics, from shopping assistance to problem-solving, ensuring each interaction is personalized and supportive. Utilize critical thinking and proactive problem-solving skills to determine appropriate solutions for customers, setting follow-ups as needed to ensure resolution and customer satisfaction. Operate with empathy, kindness, and active listening skills, providing an exceptional customer experience and contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: At least 2 years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment. Fluency in English, with Canadian French (Quebecois) fluency preferred. Ability to multitask, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using computers for data entry and rapid navigation through systems and the internet to support customers. High school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to pass a background check. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs, including schedule shifts and overtime as required. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Prior experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Familiarity with customer service software and technology. Experience in the pet industry or a related field. Certifications or training in customer service, communication, or a related area. Technical Requirements To work effectively from home, you will need: A dedicated work area that is large enough to accommodate computer monitors and is free from distractions and background noise. A reliable, wired, high-speed internet connection with a minimum download speed of 30 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps. A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication through Okta Verify.
