Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to provide you and your family with additional protection, security, and support for both your career and your life away from work. **Perks of this Role** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will enjoy the following benefits: * **Fully remote position**: Work from the comfort of your own home, with rotational shifts available for EST, CT, or PST. * **Full benefits**: Enjoy comprehensive health plans, paid time off, retirement savings, corporate wellness, educational assistance, corporate discounts, and more, effective the first month following your hire date. * **Paid time off**: Enjoy a great work-life balance with paid time off for relaxation and rejuvenation. * **401k with match**: Contribute to your retirement savings with a 401k plan that includes a company match, with no vesting period. * **Career growth opportunities**: Join a rapidly growing organization with a strong focus on employee development and advancement. **Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * **Providing customer service support**: Interact with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline, creating, formatting, and proofreading letters, and maintaining timeliness. * **Decision making**: Make decisions regarding complex appeals, utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes. * **Communication**: Communicate verbally and in writing with external customers to furnish and request review information, fostering effective working relationships between blithequark's internal and external customers. * **Data entry**: Enter referral information into the CMS system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. * **Quality control**: Utilize internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes, identifying areas for potential improvement. * **Team collaboration**: Participate in Review Team meetings, assisting with and identifying areas for potential improvement. **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need: * **High school diploma or equivalent**: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with post-high school business courses a plus. * **Medical terminology**: Medical terminology is desired, but not required. * **Excellent verbal communication skills**: You must be courteous, patient, and customer-oriented, with the ability to maintain composure under potentially stressful situations. * **Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills**: You must be able to communicate effectively in writing, with attention to detail and accuracy. * **Customer-focused and results-oriented**: You must be able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, with a focus on delivering exceptional results. * **General knowledge of a PC-based computer system**: You should have a basic understanding of computer systems and software, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed. * **Multi-tasking and prioritization**: You must be able to prioritize assignments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results. **Experience** We are seeking a candidate with: * **Two to three years of clerical experience**: You should have a minimum of two to three years of experience in a clerical role, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities. * **Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology**: While not required, prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology is a plus. * **Data entry or other clerical experience**: Previous data entry or other clerical experience is also a plus. **Mental and Physical Requirements** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
