The Role: Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our brand, communicating with customers via telephone and assisting with hotel, rental car, and flight reservations. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and ensuring our customers have an unforgettable travel experience. You'll be working with customers who call to change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues. Your expertise, patience, and understanding will be essential in turning every customer interaction into a positive experience. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming calls from customers, providing personalized support and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner Review customer history as necessary to provide context and personalized solutions Follow policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in every customer interaction Help customers change travel plans, providing or confirming their travel itinerary as needed Process refunds and resolve travel issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Place outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues or provide additional support Document information and outcomes as necessary, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication with other teams Flexible Scheduling and Remote Work At blithequark, we understand the importance of work-life balance and flexibility. About You: To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll need prior customer service experience, strong geographical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is preferred, but not essential. You should be a team player, easy to work with, and able to accept feedback well. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, empathy, and self-directed motivation are also essential for success in this role.
