Job Summary In this critical role, you will provide essential receptionist and clerical support services, including preparing, coordinating, and compiling patient records, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing supplies for our nursing and ancillary departments. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask will ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Establish, inventory, and replenish adequate supply levels, including exchange and par carts, to support daily activities for nursing and ancillary departments. Document all supply replenishment performed, enter issues/credits, patient care equipment, and charges, and process patient and supply charges for interfacing and day-close activities. Monitor, rotate, remove, and document all outdated and overstocked supplies, checking for any damage to items, and enter supply replenished par level forms, including par, Pyxis inventory, or exchange carts. Verify inventory and control levels for all nursing and ancillary departments, physically stock and pick needed supplies for delivery, and ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks. Promote the mission, vision, and values of blithequark, and abide by service behavior standards, performing other duties as assigned and floating to other departments as needed. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a High School Diploma or GED and have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Proficiency in operating computers and other office equipment, as well as the ability to move fingers and hands, see and read computer monitors and documents, and remain sitting or standing for long periods, is also required. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, previous experience in a healthcare or customer care setting, as well as knowledge of supply management and inventory control principles, would be highly desirable. You should be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Physical Requirements This role requires interacting with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing, operating computers and other office equipment, seeing and reading computer monitors and documents, and remaining sitting or standing for long periods. You may also need to lift and transport objects and office supplies, bend, kneel, and reach, as required.
