Job Overview: Customer Service Representative As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the best possible shopping experience. Your key priorities will include greeting customers, assisting them with the selection of merchandise, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise. You will be the face of our company, and your exceptional service skills will be essential in building strong relationships with our customers and driving business success. Key Responsibilities: Provide customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner, ensuring that every customer feels valued and supported. Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store for customers during their shopping experience, contributing to a safe and secure environment. Help in the unloading of merchandise from delivery trucks, organize merchandise, and transport merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor, ensuring that our store is always fully stocked and visually appealing. Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, taking pride in your work and ensuring that our store is always looking its best. Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any issues or concerns that may arise. Perform all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances. Position Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that will enable you to provide exceptional customer service and support the smooth operation of our store. Education: We prefer candidates who have completed high school or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in basic skills and a commitment to learning. You should also be able to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned, showing an ability to understand and apply instructions. Experience: Preferably, you will have experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, demonstrating an understanding of customer service principles and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have experience in a similar role, you will be well-equipped to handle the demands of this position and provide exceptional service to our customers. Physical Requirements: You should be able to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, demonstrating physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require manual labor. You should also be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability: You should be available to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demonstrating a commitment to your role and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
