Job Summary We are excited to offer a Full Remote Data Entry Assistant position, available to candidates based in the United States. As a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in updating and maintaining information in our databases and computer systems. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting and entering data into databases, maintaining accurate records of valuable company information, and collaborating with our data team and data manager. Key Responsibilities Enter alphabetical and numerical data from source documents, comparing entered data to source documents, deleting incorrectly entered data, and re-entering correct data. Maintain accurate department files and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible. Compose and type routine correspondence emails, demonstrating excellent written communication skills. Copy records as needed, and assist with data entry of orders (new and changed) and quotes. Maintain order files, store closed order files, and check and confirm the accuracy of purchase orders. Assist with customer files when necessary, providing exceptional support to our customers. Perform all other duties and functions of the department as assigned or required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Data Entry Assistant at arenaflex, you should possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in education. Previous experience in administrative functions in an office environment, entering data, and processing documentation. Computer literacy, with the ability to use PC-based word processors to enter data into files and spreadsheets, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally with employees at all levels. Strong English grammar and spelling skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar position, demonstrating a strong understanding of data entry principles and practices. Familiarity with online forms and spreadsheets, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively.
