Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that all products are accurately priced and displayed. Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using the POS system, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, reporting any incidents or concerns to management as needed. Perform all other duties as assigned in order to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including participating in visual merchandising, store displays, and promotional activities. Position Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our organization's values and goals. The following requirements are preferred: Completion of high school or equivalent, with the ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned. Experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices. Physical ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height, with the ability to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation. Availability to work a flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing store needs and priorities.
