You'll be responsible for providing exceptional phone support to patients receiving life-saving specialty drug treatment, while collaborating with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve complex issues and meet financial and clinical expectations. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide phone support to patients receiving specialty drug treatment, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and compassionate manner * Coordinate and handle new and reorder medication requests, including verifying and renewing benefits * Assist patients in deciphering and entering new or reorder medications into the pharmacy data system, collecting and processing copay sums, and obtaining approvals * Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and approve orders with records of sales or clinical issues * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution * One year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs via telephone * One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * One year of PC keyboarding experience, skills, and proficiency **Preferred Qualifications** * Healthcare work experience and knowledge of benefits, insurance, medications, and clinical terminology * Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient satisfaction and empathy **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, clients, and internal stakeholders * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and meet financial and clinical expectations * Proficiency in Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and email applications * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to investing in our employees' growth and development.
