About the Role: Customer Service Representative - Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team from the comfort of your home in Florida. As a critical member of our team, you will provide exceptional telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your superb communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will ensure that our patients receive the care and support they need. Key Responsibilities: Provide telephone support to patients, answering their questions, and addressing concerns regarding their specialty medications. Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and reviving benefits. Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system accurately and efficiently. Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to resolve orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues. Ensure that financial and clinical expectations are met prior to fulfillment, adhering to quality and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless processing of specialty medications and excellent patient experiences. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should possess: One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone. One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications. One year of computer keyboarding experience with the skills and aptitude to efficiently use computer systems. A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.
