You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. This role requires strong communication skills, a working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Key Responsibilities** * Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, with a goal of providing overall savings to patients and clients * Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, working closely with the patient and Specialty Projects Team * Handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gaining patient and order information * Provide customer education, routine assessment, and problem identification, escalating issues to a pharmacist as needed * Maintain accurate records and documentation, adhering to HIPAA and governmental compliance requirements * Work collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals and objectives **Essential Qualifications** * 1+ years of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone * 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application * Must reside in the state of Nevada * Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting * Knowledge of insurance, healthcare, and reimbursement-related requirements * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively * Strong attention to detail and accuracy * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information * Strong customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and compassion **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our colleagues grow and develop their skills and careers.
