About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in interacting with the public to gain commitment for blood donations, thereby supporting the organization's life-saving mission. This full-time position requires a strong passion for customer service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently from home. Key Responsibilities Call donors on assigned lists to gain commitment for donation, ensuring a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions. Meet calls per hour standards, consistently striving to achieve monthly performance metrics and maintain a high standard of integrity and confidence in all communication with donors. Follow scripts and talking points as directed, leaving quality recorded messages with accurate information and scheduling donor procedure appointments in accordance with donor commitment. Record information in a neat, accurate, and timely manner, making follow-up and reminder calls as necessary to ensure seamless communication with donors. Answer incoming calls, routing and assisting callers as appropriate, and educate donors about automated donation procedures to gain commitment for the donor to "power up" and donate through an automated procedure. Maintain confidentiality with regard to all medical and other private donor, client, and business information, adhering to all applicable compliance, safety directives, and regulations. Maintain and update donor call profiles through accurate data entry, routing medical questions through appropriate channels, and assisting in the training of paid and volunteer staff when needed. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating a foundation in education and a potential for growth and development in the role. Pleasant voice and professional manner, essential for providing exceptional customer service and representing arenaflex in a positive and professional light. Ability to effectively communicate and speak clearly to the public over the phone, ensuring that all interactions are productive and respectful. Home internet and cell phone, necessary for remote work and staying connected with the team and donors. arenaflex will provide a computer for work purposes, ensuring that you have the necessary tools to perform your duties efficiently. Preferred Qualifications One year of previous experience in a customer service or telemarketing position, preferred but not required, as arenaflex is committed to training and developing its team members. Flexibility to work unscheduled or long hours in response to a crisis or special blood needs, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to the organization's mission.
