Job Overview We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at blithequark. As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of customer service representatives, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service and support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with all departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement Answer and resolve customer inquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional and courteous manner Oversee daily airport operations to create a safe, secure, and efficient working environment Meet or exceed performance goals through effective decision-making, entrusting and following up with team members, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures Collaborate with all departments to maintain the station's on-time performance, reporting updates to leaders and employees as necessary Drive performance processes by identifying potential issues that could impact operations, monitoring and achieving results against key metrics, and holding team members accountable for results Work with staff to achieve sales goals and promote blithequark's products and services Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as working shift offers, closing offers, daily work tasks, cash handling, and team reports, ensuring that staffing levels are adequate and overtime is used efficiently Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner May perform other duties as assigned by leadership Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role Knowledge of customer service principles and practices, including customer needs assessment, quality standards for service, and customer satisfaction metrics Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and leadership Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in the aviation industry or a related field Knowledge of airport operations, including safety and security procedures Experience with performance management and metrics, including data analysis and reporting Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and nuances Previous experience with remote work or virtual teams, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with remote work Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and leadership Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and a high level of accuracy Strong sense of accountability and responsibility, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations Career Growth Opportunities At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
