About the Role As a member of the Borrower Success Team at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in helping student loan borrowers navigate the complex landscape of federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will become an expert in the student loan industry, serving as the first point of contact for users and providing exceptional support to ensure their success. This remote, full-time contractor role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team for up to 5 months, with the possibility of extension or permanent hiring in NYC based on performance and company needs. Key Responsibilities Develop a deep understanding of arenaflex's product offerings and how they address the unique needs of borrowers Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, providing empathetic and clear support to resolve their queries and concerns Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process Proactively suggest and implement ideas and automations to help scale the team and improve the overall borrower experience Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, creating new features and offerings that meet the evolving needs of borrowers Work closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with arenaflex's social mission to improve financial health and well-being Recommended Experience and Qualifications arenaflex is seeking talented individuals with at least one year of relevant work experience in customer support, finance, government programs, or related fields. Experience working with start-ups, financial aid, or fintech is a plus. The ideal candidate will be passionate about applying their skills and knowledge in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue.
