Key Responsibilities Provide customer support via phone, chat, and/or video chat to Intuit TurboTax customers, focusing on software navigation and locating previous tax returns and amendments. Utilize critical thinking and multi-tasking capabilities to resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner. Escalate complex issues to senior support representatives or other relevant teams as necessary. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing empathetic and personalized support. Navigate multiple systems and software applications to resolve customer issues. Work independently as an independent contractor, managing your own schedule and workload. Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A sincere desire to assist customers and provide excellent customer service. Tech-savvy and comfortable using computers and various software applications. Ability to multi-task and navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, with a friendly tone and professional demeanor. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically. Reliable high-speed internet connection and necessary computer equipment (detailed requirements below). Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer support experience, particularly in a technical or software-related field. Familiarity with tax software or tax preparation concepts. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Technology and Equipment Requirements To ensure that you have the necessary tools to perform your job duties, you will need to meet the following technology and equipment requirements: A personal computer (no tablet) with a Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system. A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 MBPS (wired connection required, no wi-fi or mobile internet). Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date. A USB headset with a microphone. A webcam will be provided by Working Solutions for the duration of the contract. Work Environment Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a dedicated workspace that meets the following requirements: A quiet, uninterrupted space with minimal distractions. An organized desk area with necessary equipment and materials. A professional appearance (if on camera). Compensation and Benefits As an independent contractor with Working Solutions, you will have the opportunity to earn a competitive hourly rate of up to $19 per hour, depending on your performance and the time of year. Contractors who meet or exceed key metrics can earn an average of $16-$19 per hour during peak times and $15.60-$17.50 per hour during non-peak times. Peak rates apply from January to April.
