As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with customers, sales teams, and technical product support specialists to provide world-class service and support. Job Summary We're looking for an experienced Customer Support Specialist to join our team in the USA. As a remote worker, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and be part of a dynamic team that's passionate about science and innovation. Your primary responsibility will be to provide product recommendations, troubleshooting support, and assistance with orders to our customers. You'll also collaborate with our Technical Product Support Team and Sales Team to provide product support for separation science-related products and services. Key Responsibilities: Respond to incoming inquiries (including internet chats, phone calls, web inquiries, and emails) by providing product recommendations, troubleshooting support, preparing quotes, and assisting with orders. Collaborate with the Technical Product Support Team and Sales Team to provide product support for separation science-related products and services through customer-initiated inquiries and necessary follow-ups. Assist customers with product information, recommendations, application searches, and preliminary method development. Utilize CRM, ERP, ticketing, and chat software to document interactions and provide support appropriately. Work to meet global and regional sales revenue goals and associated KPIs. Provide world-class customer service to maintain high satisfaction ratings and foster strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Perform other job-related duties that may arise, as requested by customers and/or management. Essential Requirements: To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's Degree in a Life Science such as Chemistry or Biology. One year of Sales experience or Customer Service experience. 1 year of exposure to chromatography and/or sample preparation. A strong desire to cooperate in a teamwork environment. Experience with Microsoft Office and database management. Ability to quickly master new software. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Preferred Qualifications: While not essential, the following qualifications would be an asset: Previous experience in a related field or industry. Knowledge of CRM, ERP, ticketing, and chat software. Experience working in a remote or virtual team environment. Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
