About the Role We're on the hunt for a talented Customer Support Specialist with GDS experience to join our dynamic Support team. As a critical member of our organization, you'll be the face of Blithequark for our customers, providing top-notch support and helping them unlock the full potential of our Travel Products. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert support to Blithequark customers, resolving issues related to our Travel Products in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Take ownership of customer issues from start to finish, leveraging phone, chat, email, and video conferencing to ensure seamless communication. De-escalate and resolve complex issues by utilizing platform and industry expertise, ensuring customers receive the best possible experience. Document product functionality and country-specific nuances, training Global Support Team members and contributing to the growth of our knowledge base. Become a product expert, serving as a go-to resource for both customers and coworkers, and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to share insights and suggestions for enhancing our customer experience through automation or added features. Work effectively under time constraints, meeting schedules and deadlines to ensure clients' needs are met. What You'll Need Essential Qualifications: Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a night shift from 10pm-6am CT. 3+ years of experience in a customer/client-facing role, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support. Experience working within the travel industry or with travel products. Demonstrated problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Organizational skills and experience improving processes. Flexibility with changing job duties and responsibilities. Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a TMC/BT Consultant Role, covering all supplier products (air, rail, and hotel). 2+ years of GDS experience (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) to an intermediate level.
