Job Summary As a Data Analyst and Information Investigator at blithequark, you will play a critical role in the execution, optimization, and standardization of the company's cost and resource allocation models. You will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and documenting data that supports our internal operations, resourcing, and cost assignments for the businesses we support. Key Responsibilities Build a deep understanding of costing and resourcing data related to our internal teams and functional partners. Support the coordination of high-priority projects that standardize and optimize financial cycles across the organization. Support internal business workflows, such as management costing, workforce management, and resource planning. Work with various data systems and provide ad-hoc analysis and reports to support business needs, research, and resolve metrics-based issues. Document workflows related to key processes, data collection, and maintenance, including tracking significant decisions and changes. Collaborate with Data Architects and system engineers to support documentation and implementations of database designs. Develop strategic decision-making frameworks and write scripts that help us automate and scale. Refine insights from data and craft compelling messaging for executive audiences. Support Planning and Delivery Operations with ad-hoc requests from our stakeholders. Essential Qualifications 3+ years of experience in informatics, data analysis, data engineering, or technical fields. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Information Science, Statistics, Business Finance/Economics, Informatics, or Computer Science. Experience working with data and data manipulation software like R, SQL, Python; building dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, Airtable, Smartsheet. Understanding of social database design and capability. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Demonstrated self-starter with strong strategic thinking, unwavering integrity, and excellent communication and direction skills. Successful collaboration and time management skills. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to step back and understand the big picture. Excellent written and oral communication skills. A demonstrated ability to work with engineering delivery teams to discuss technical concepts. Experience with Excel, Smartsheet, or possibly AirTable. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in a technical field, such as a Master's or Ph.D. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
