Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst and Insights Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Information Stage - Insights group, you will play a critical role in providing data analysis and support to our platform, service, and operational design teams. Your primary responsibility will be to define what questions should be asked and scale analysis methods and tools to support our growing business. You will also help shape the vision for business analytics, architecture for data-related business grows, as well as strategic execution, such as research analysis and mission execution reporting. Key Responsibilities Work with members of Stages and Services to guide them towards better decision making from the available data Advance data and insights through managing communications with partners and different groups, collaborate with stakeholders to complete data projects and ensure all parties can utilize the insights to further progress Maintain a customer-driven focus while being a space and product expert through data, foster trust among peers, and ensure that the teams and projects have access to data to decide Manage ambiguous issues and adapt tools to address complicated questions Identify the trade-offs among speed and quality of different approaches Develop logical frameworks to measure team accomplishment by collaborating with teams to establish progress metrics, create ways to track the data and analyze errors, measure and evaluate the data to foster a common language for all stakeholders to grasp these metrics Operationalize data cycles to provide partners with ad-hoc analysis, automated dashboards, and self-service reporting tools so everyone gets a fair view of the state of the business Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 3+ years of domain experience in a consumer web business, or in a high-speed, high-growth product or team Expert SQL skills and proficiency in Python/R Experience using data to create understanding and drive business results Familiarity with data analysis and communication around data, including time series analysis, experimentation, data visualization, and defining the KPI strategy for your business Excellent collaborative person with the ability to maintain relationships Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Passion about online communities, games, and streaming platforms Experience in Operational Excellence, defining metrics and analysis reporting Experience working with software development and operational event data Experience with machine learning techniques, such as logistic regression, decision trees, and neural networks Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for growth, learning, and development.
