Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content team at blithequark. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in applying scientific rigor to enhance our content portfolio, marketing, and delivery system. Key Responsibilities Apply advanced analytics methods (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, machine learning) to large-scale, high-dimensional data to inform business decisions Analyze customer behavior (e.g., type preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected customer needs and undiscovered content opportunities Predict content engagement to guide acquisition decisions Optimize our content launch and episode release strategy Test marketing strategies to improve engagement and retention Develop and implement new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both tactical and strategic guidance Provide ad-hoc analytics support to stakeholders to help drive the business forward Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field At least 3 years of experience in Data Analysis Proficiency in SQL and experience with R or Python Experience with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques: decision trees, regression, classification, etc. Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity in solving complex problems Excellent data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication Preferred Qualifications Graduate degree in Data Science, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field A passion for Media and Entertainment Skill and Competency Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical, business, and soft skills.
