**Experienced Data Engineer – Cloud-Based Data Pipeline Development and Support**

Our Data Science + Mix (DDSI) association is dedicated to supporting clients across the arenaflex organization, including the Disney Parks, Experiences and Products division, which encompasses Parks and Resorts, both domestic and international, Consumer Products, and Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, as well as the Disney General Entertainment Content division, which includes Studios Content (Disney General Entertainment Content), General Entertainment Content, and ESPN and Sports Content. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team and help us develop and maintain data pipelines that drive business value. As a Data Engineer, you'll work closely with our Choice Science, Client, and Innovation colleagues on various projects, including data pipeline development, sustainment, and research initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing and implementing data pipelines that meet the needs of our Media business, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data sets. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools and technologies, such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and Python * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data pipelines that meet business requirements * Design and implement data set schema, tables, and views to support science models and visualizations * Develop and maintain automated workflows and schedulers to ensure data pipeline efficiency and reliability * Work with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Develop and maintain cloud-based data pipelines using AWS or similar cloud platforms * Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and accuracy * Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base for data pipelines and related processes **Essential Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field * 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support * Strong expertise in Python and SQL, with experience using Snowflake and PostgreSQL * Experience working in a multi-cloud environment (Dev, QA, Prod, etc.) and DEVOPS strategies for code organization and development * Experience creating and maintaining automated workflow schedulers * Strong understanding of data set schema and design **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar * Proficiency in cloud design and product contributions, ideally AWS * Experience overseeing and delivering code using a source control tool like GitLab/GitHub * Experience using Docker **What We Offer** * Competitive salary of $27/hour * Opportunity to work with a leading innovator in the entertainment industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional growth and development opportunities * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply** If you're passionate about data engineering and want to join a team that's shaping the future of the entertainment industry, we encourage you to apply.
