Job Overview The Data Specialist - Information Analytics will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering digital data pipelines from various internal and external data sources. This role focuses on data engineering to drive analysis and data services, working closely with product owners, engineering, and data platform teams to create, test, and automate data pipelines that serve as the single source of truth across the organization. Key Responsibilities Creates and operationalizes data pipelines to make data available for consumption (BI, Advanced analytics, Services) Collaborates with data architects and data/BI engineers to design data pipelines and recommends continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and governance Designs, develops, and implements ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud Services) Utilizes Azure services like Azure SQL DW (Synapse), ADLS, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Data Factory to optimize and accelerate the delivery of our data products and services Implements big data and NoSQL solutions by developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights to the organization Identifies, designs, and implements internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of data management Presents technical concepts to non-technical audiences both written and verbal Performs peer reviews for other data engineers' work Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have: 2+ years of experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter 2+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica IICS 2+ years of experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Azure Databricks, Spark, Azure Synapse, Universe DB, and other big data technologies 2+ years of experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing data integration processes like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Azure Event Hub), ETL Solid understanding of database storage concepts; Data Lake, Social Databases, NoSQL, Graph, Data Warehousing Able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Microsoft Azure/comparable certifications Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches Familiarity with the retail industry Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strong technical skills in data engineering, data modeling, and data warehousing Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
