As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling customer inquiries, and providing support to our pharmacists and other staff members. Key Responsibilities Utilize arenaflex's data entry techniques and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter information into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to acquire missing prescription information and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve data entry issues related to exceptions and handle correspondence with patients, including inbound calls, chats, and messages. Settle third-party rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party rejections. Provide support to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills, including starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing reports, and accessing information online. Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and filling out forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification organization. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
