Experienced Data Entry and Reconciliation Specialist for Alternate Investments – Remote Opportunity with blithequark

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceptional client service. Key responsibilities will include: Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity Conducting analysis of complex/escalated issues and performing testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor profiles Collaborating with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce to resolve client inquiries and issues Representing blithequark in daily interactions with fund companies, transfer agents, counterparties, and other external business partners Duties and Analysis The Data Entry and Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for a range of duties, including: Review of subscription deals or transfer requests Client/Advisor amount exceptions Regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) Reconciliation of Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies Review and analysis of correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding errors Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving The successful candidate will be skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving, with the ability to: Identify and resolve internal/external system issues or concerns Determine the root cause of breaks between blithequark, fund companies, and other external partners Provide method or technology solution alternatives to Management Remediate transfer issues with fund companies or counterparties Respond to business partner inquiries regarding fund information requirements/eligibility Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite client requests or remediate outstanding issues Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, the candidate will possess: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines Preferred qualifications include: Experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field, preferably in the financial industry Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) Experience with trading, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions Certifications or training in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Attention to detail : ability to accurately process and reconcile data, with a focus on quality and accuracy Analytical skills : ability to analyze complex data and identify trends, patterns, and issues Communication skills : ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, both written and verbal Problem-solving skills : ability to identify and resolve issues, with a focus on finding solutions and alternatives Time management skills : ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
