Key Responsibilities Guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of sports data distributed by the data management and analysis team at arenaflex. Work in individual and team settings to deliver accurate and detailed data analysis, clock-and-score, and other metrics and data that power various arenaflex products and productions. Create and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the data management and analysis team's role in fueling arenaflex digital products and television productions. Verify the results of your own work and that of others, performing with a consistently high level of attention to detail. Contribute to production, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and support newsroom leaders who are coordinating full-time and part-time staff. Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and propose likely solutions. Communicate rapidly and clearly with stakeholders on these issues. Play a proactive role in collaborating with stakeholders to develop or refine production processes. Be an active participant in team and department meetings. Seek and respond to feedback regarding individual performance. Stay informed about current departmental policies and procedures. Essential Qualifications Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of various sports. Full schedule availability, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports data that powers arenaflex digital and television products. Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments. Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and peers about production issues and opportunities, often through the noise of a busy newsroom. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience working in sports or statistics, ideally in media. Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and for research purposes. Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions. Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office products. Experience leading or mentoring a team. Ability to speak and write Spanish. Experience using social media in a business or news environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
