About the Role: Analyst - Data Protection & Privacy As a Data Entry Specialist focusing on Data Protection & Privacy at blithequark, you will play a crucial role in our Digital Technology team, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. This is a remote opportunity with a competitive salary of $26/hour. If you're detail-oriented, have a strong background in cybersecurity or a related field, and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding position, this could be the perfect fit. Key Responsibilities Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and efficiency, adhering to Data Protection & Privacy requirements and policies. Collaborate with various levels of management and teams to ensure compliance with local, domestic, and international data protection regulations. Work in a dynamic environment with strict deadlines, handling multiple tasks concurrently and demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Utilize interpersonal skills, approachability, and effective listening to communicate complex information to diverse audiences. Contribute to the overall effectiveness of blithequark's cybersecurity program by identifying and interpreting non-compliance patterns and their impact on risk levels. Maintain reliable, punctual attendance and be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a STEM-associated field, with a strong understanding of Data Protection & Privacy principles and policies. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. The capacity to perform under strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy: CISA certification or similar professional credentials in cybersecurity. Knowledge of computer networking principles, protocols, and security measures. Understanding of security engineering and architecture principles, as well as cryptography and cryptographic key control. Hands-on experience with Data Protection & Privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities. The ability to interpret non-compliance patterns and assess their impact on risk levels and the overall cybersecurity program.
