Your key responsibilities will include: * **Client Service Specialist**: Offer friendly support to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external clients. * **Ground Activities**: Work in a helpful spirit to ensure the success of our organization. * **Client Support**: Provide excellent customer service to individuals wanting to travel, use freight or baggage services by addressing their needs. * **Tagging and Registration**: Handle all aspects of tagging and registration by working an automated retail location system, boarding, baggage services, reservations, and resolving related issues and complaints. * **Cash Handling**: Handle cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets. Calculate charges, make change, and balance daily transactions. * **Baggage and Freight**: Inspect baggage and freight. Answer phone calls to provide information to guests, page clients, resolve issues or complaints, and assist on a case-by-case basis. * **Load Planning**: Handle exchanges necessary to load the plane in a convenient and efficient manner. * **Client Resolution**: Manage misused clients due to oversells, delayed or canceled flights, lost, delayed, or damaged baggage. Resolve such issues quickly and within rules established by the organization. * **Information and Communication**: Provide current and accurate information, schedules, reservations, flight arrival/departure information, and answer general inquiries from clients and other guests to the airport. * **Reporting**: Complete forms and reports as required by the organization. * **Writing**: Write anomaly and complaint reports as needed. * **Additional Responsibilities**: Perform other work duties as directed by Representative's Chiefs. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you should have: * **Data Entry Skills**: The ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job. * **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: The ability to understand reports, follow directions, learn, and comprehend tagging techniques, rules, and guidelines. * **Communication and Interpersonal Skills**: The ability to work with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances. * **Adaptability and Flexibility**: The ability to agreeably complete the Client Service Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and an assessment period. * **Crisis Management**: The ability to handle crises as needed. * **Time Management**: The ability to work under close time requirements to achieve quick turnaround of planes. * **Appearance and Grooming**: The ability to give a well-groomed appearance in understanding the Ground Activities Worker Handbook and Work Arrangement. * **Physical Abilities**: The ability to perform all job duties within a confined space. * **Verbal Communication**: The ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems effectively. * **Written and Oral Communication**: The ability to write and communicate effectively in writing and orally. * **Multitasking**: The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. **Education and Experience** * **Education**: No formal education requirement. * **Experience**: No experience necessary. * **Certifications and Licenses**: The ability to obtain a SIDA identification and meet all local airport requirements.
