Your key responsibilities will include: * **Data Preparation**: Developing and implementing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, including in-house data properties and certified systems. * **Data Analysis**: Conducting advanced data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in real-world data, and developing predictive models to inform business decisions. * **Collaboration**: Partnering with cross-functional teams, including clinical trial teams, to develop and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs. * **Data Visualization**: Creating interactive dashboards and reports to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, including business leaders, clinicians, and patients. * **Due Diligence**: Conducting due diligence on new real-world data companies and evaluating the quality of their data to inform investment decisions. **Key Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * **Bachelor's degree or higher** in a quantitative or computational field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics. * **4+ years of experience** in a quantitative or computational role, with a strong focus on data analysis and machine learning. * **Proficiency in programming languages**, including R, Python, or SQL. * **Experience with statistical analysis**, including generalized linear models, classification and regression trees, and unsupervised learning. * **Knowledge of data visualization tools**, including Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Spotfire. * **Experience working with large datasets**, including data processing and management. * **Familiarity with healthcare data standards**, including ICD9/10/ReadCode and clinical terminologies. **Preferred Qualifications** * **Ph.D. or Master's degree** in a quantitative or computational field. * **Expertise in EMR/Health IT**, including disease registries and policy claims databases. * **Experience with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines** for real-world evidence research or clinical trials. * **Experience working with alternative data sources** and alternative methods of data collection, including those enabled by technology systems and/or solutions. * **Understanding of machine learning techniques**, including experimental design, Bayesian modeling, and sequential data analysis. **Benefits** arenaflex offers a comprehensive benefits package, including: * **Company-paid life insurance** * **Medical, prescription drugs, dental, and vision coverage** * **Retirement savings plan** (401(k)) * **Employee stock purchase plan** * **Paid time off (PTO)** * **Holidays** * **Paid parental leave (PPL)** * **Transportation benefit plan** * **Employee store discount** * **Voluntary life & personal accident insurance** **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and detail-oriented data scientist with a passion for real-world evidence, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
