Our team of innovative professionals is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what's possible, and we're looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our Scientific Affairs group. **Job Summary:** We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead the development of Real-World Evidence (RWE) through advanced analytics and innovative processes within the medical trials space. As a key member of our Clinical Trial group, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests. If you're passionate about leveraging data to drive business decisions and improve patient outcomes, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain standardized, analysis-ready patient cohorts from in-house data properties or certified systems, examine and interpret results, and assist in shaping analytics strategy * Partner with other members of the Walgreens Clinical Trial group to provide actionable insights from real-world, medical, and other data assets to support biopharmaceutical RWE and medical trial requests * Clean, transform, and store data into an integrated data lake for future analysis and broader group consumption * Perform data mining and statistical analysis to investigate RWE/RWD to uncover new insights concerning patient populations and treatment results * Support the development of real-world data, analytics, and platform capabilities, applying advanced analytics and tools to address medical questions from biopharmaceutical companies * Collaborate on design and execution of results reports research * Ensure high-quality, rigorous, and easily interpretable deliverables from RWE research and analyses * Build dashboards, analytics, and reports for internal and external consumption * Conduct due diligence on new real-world data companies and perform RWD quality tests to inform investment decisions **About arenaflex:** arenaflex is a leading healthcare, pharmacy, and retail company with a 170-year history of caring for communities.
