Key Responsibilities As a Dispatch and Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Dispatching: Schedule and dispatch service technicians, drivers, or field staff based on customer needs and availability. Monitor field staff locations and job statuses to optimize route efficiency and response times. Communicate job details, instructions, and updates to field personnel in real time. Adjust schedules as needed due to cancellations, delays, or emergencies. Customer Service: Answer incoming calls and emails from customers regarding service requests, inquiries, or issues. Provide accurate information about services, scheduling, and follow-up procedures. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and deescalate as necessary. Maintain customer records in CRM or dispatch software systems. Administrative Support: Input and update job tickets, customer data, and service records. Generate and send confirmations, invoices, or service reports as needed. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, billing, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery. Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. 1+ years of experience in dispatching, customer service, or administrative support (industry experience a plus). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required for this role. Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment. Familiarity with CRM or dispatch software systems.
