Key Responsibilities As a Distribution Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including: Responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and effectively Processing and inputting customer orders, producing stock reports, and preparing related paperwork and necessary information required for customer work orders Coordinating special and last-minute shipping requests with the Traffic and Operations Departments, expediting any order as necessary Providing follow-up with other departments to ensure that service standards are being met and that customers receive the best possible experience Assuring proper invoicing of accounts by verifying computer-generated invoices and preparing shipping and tracing information to customers as required Maintaining damage records and back-order logs, communicating customer feedback to management, and acting as a liaison between the warehouse and the customer in administration of the accounts Overseeing all paperwork associated with orders and maintaining the corresponding files, as well as maintaining current and accurate procedure manuals Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent Strong computer knowledge, including MS Office applications Basic typing skills and familiarity with 10-key Experience with shipping software systems, including UPS and Federal Express Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management Excellent customer service skills, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional support and building strong relationships with clients The ability to work in varying facility conditions and adapt to changing situations Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and potentially holidays as needed Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures Experience with data analysis and reporting Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box A positive and proactive attitude, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines A positive and proactive attitude, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
